Cynthia Mendoza joined AFAM Capital in July 2012. With several promotions over the years, she currently serves as Vice President responsible for the Company’s Operations. She is responsible for Client Services, Tech & Infrastructure, Databases & Reporting, Vendor Management and Trading Operations. Cynthia designed and manages the InternAFAM Program, which has included over a dozen interns. She is also a member of the Company’s senior leadership team, which drives key mandates from the Executive Committee throughout the organization.
In 2003, Cynthia graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas with a B.B.A. degree in Corporate Finance. Cynthia earned her MBA from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX in May of 2015. Prior to joining AFAM, she served as an Analyst for the Private Markets department at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas and as a Portfolio Management Assistant at South Texas Money Management.
