Dr. Titman sits on Innealta Capital’s investment committee; he serves as director of strategy research. In this role, he oversees the team researching and applying factor investing methods. Dr. Titman is a co-portfolio manager for select strategies. His primary responsibility is to provide and curate relevant academic research in the field of economics that can enhance the firm’s strategies’ design. Dr. Titman is a world-renowned academic for his contributions in Corporate Finance, Valuation, Asset Pricing and Investments. Dr. Titman has had a lasting impact in the financial industry and is regarded as one of the fathers of modern finance. He has a vast academic résumé, having authored more than 250 papers, published in top journals, which have garnered more than 60,000 citations. His work has been relevant to both academics and practitioners, including in the design and management of portfolios. His most famous contribution to the latter are his insights on the role of momentum in the cross-section of equity returns. His accomplishments also include being the president of the American Finance Association, the Western Finance Association, and Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy. Additionally, Dr. Titman is a faculty member in the Department of Finance at the University of Texas at Austin.

He earned his Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. In addition, he has an B.S. in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
